Summer Workshops
Physical Science: 4th and 5th Grade Institute** July 18-22, 2005 at Sonoma State University
This institute will enhance teacher academic content knowledge and teaching strategies in physical science through hands-on experiences. Content focus is aligned with the 4th or 5th grade science standards and will focus on batteries and bulbs and the Periodic Table. Course meets 7 hours per day (9am-5pm) for 5 days. Open to all 4th or 5th grade teachers, and on a limited basis future teachers planning on teaching 4th and 5th grade. Open to others as space permits. Facilitators: Joanne del Corral, SSU Physics, and Sharon Janulaw, North Bay Science Project. **This institute is co-sponsored by the North Bay Science Project.
